Jeffrey P. Cochran
Jeff Cochran is a seasoned sales professional and a Master Certified Trainer for the Shapiro Negotiations Institute. Jeff’s strength is the unique problem solving perspective that he has developed during an eclectic career in which he has been a banker, sales leader, farmer, educator and Peace Corps volunteer.
Jeff joined Shapiro Negotiations Institute after serving as an Account Manager for Tessco Technologies, the nation's largest communications infrastructure supplier. Jeff managed a portfolio of over 250 accounts including Mitsubishi Electronics, First Cellular and Racom. In addition, as a Tessco corporate trainer, Jeff trained new sales professionals and handled orientation training during a time when the company grew to $196 million in annual sales.
As a trainer for Shapiro Negotiations Institute, Jeff has provided training on five continents for a variety of organizations including J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Wachovia Bank, FILA USA, Ortho Biotech, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Feld Entertainment and the American Cancer Society.
Following his graduation from Cornell University, Jeff worked for three years as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Nepal. Assigned to the Nepal Bank Ltd., he used his status as an outside foreign advisor to successfully implement a rural income generation project designed to encourage farmers and small business entrepreneurs to form borrowing co-ops.
